Tara Lynn also talked about what being seductive means to her exclusicely for Plie:
Seduction is a question of feeling sure of yourself, as well as good body posture. It means having a positive attitude towards life and positive energy. It´s not just a matter of being thin. I loved the Plié project because it is based on respect. And that’s really important! – Tara Lynn

What do you think??
Hello my dear friends in the Tumblr world.
I am sorry that I have been slacking with my posts lately, I just figure out of blogging for a year and a half doing it everyday (almost). It is OK, mostly because I must pass this semester to finish my photo minor next semester, otherwise I won’t graduate college on time. :( I promise it will only be another month or so of this slack then I will be BACK! Bigger and better than everrrrr! <3
Next semester is going to consist of only ONE hard class, the rest will be media arts classes (my fave) and a cooking class! :D HOORAY! I seriously cannot wait.
I also cannot wait to be back on here everyday!
I just want you all to know, I really do care, and really do miss you. :(
However you will have a fun post or two this week! I am waiting on pple to get back to me! :} Tehhheeee.
<3 How have you been??!?
Since my school has been way insane lately, I want to reach out to you my beautiful followers.
There has been a lot of things going on with the plus size industry in the past few years- Crystal Renn taking power at a 16, then going down to an 8. Curvy models and Beth ditto walking for Gaultier. ETC.
I just feel like I express my passion for seeing curvy women on the runway soooo much, I want to know: what are your thoughts? Do you think designers should have a variety on their runways? How passionate are you? Send me your inspiring e-mails, personal stories, or anything that you want to share. (If they are just for me tell me that, otherwise I will share your stories anonymously).
I need a pick me up, and I think some of my followers do too. :D
I love you guys.

For an actress frequently compared to Marilyn Monroe, Christina Hendricks looks rather gamine as she walks into Il Buco restaurant in New York’s SoHo. She is wearing a black blouse, a pencil skirt, and a beret tilted just so on her flame-red hair, still glamorous from her Bazaar shoot the previous day. We are on what she calls “a lady date” in the restaurant where, a year ago, she married her husband, actor Geoffrey Arend. We sit under a painting of a fellow who looks like Paul Giamatti in John Adams—except with grapes. “Half of my friends posed under that painting,” she says with a laugh, ordering off the menu by heart and asking for a “big, sparkly” glass of chilled red wine.
Find the whole article here. I love her.
This is a magazine in the UK that is just like any old magazine with articles about fashion, cooking, and lifestyle. HOWEVER they only use models who are from a size 14 (US size 12) and up! Talk about cool. There are several other magazines in the States who do the same kind of thing (Plus Model Magazine, and Venus Diva Magazine). I really think it is awesome what they stand for, I mean there are a ton of fashion magazines that don’t use girls above a size 6, so bring it on!
But the thing that bothers me about this one? THE QUALITY (and name)! It really bugs me when these ladies work so hard for a magazine but it looks like a 5 year old designed it. Sorry if this is kind of mean, but people in the fashion industry aren’t taking it seriously because of the design… And that makes me really sad, they almost see it as a joke. Just look at the comments here. Come on plus size industry! If the fashion industry won’t let us in lets make a name for ourselves! Lets be JUST AS GOOD as them.
Sorry about the rant, I just want the fashion industry to realize that we have kick ass style too. We are just as good as everyone else, just because we have a few extra pounds doesn’t mean anything about our ideas and fashion sense.
What do you think?
You should “like” it too!! ;-) I will tell tumblr what I am up to this weekend in a few hours!!!!! :D
This is what I would have worn my first day of school, yesterday, if it wasn’t so freaking hot! I just love this lace maxi skirt, I would wear it everyday if the weather would chill out a little (literally)! I bought it back in 9th grade after I officially parted from my “punk” phase. I wore it constantly for a while in high school then probably didn’t wear it for 3 years. Never the less I found it again and haven’t looked back! Ladies, do not be afraid to wear white this fall, as long as you do it properly. I always love a good white and black combo, but I wanted to get a little more creative this time by adding the brown belt and vintage gold necklace. Both the belt and necklace I got from a flea market! It is my final year of college, but this skirt makes it all bearable. Thank you white lace maxi skirt for lightening up my wardrobe.
I started an Etsy with my little sister!!! My sister makes this jewelry it is awesome! And I have this obsession with vintage clothes, but I HAVE TOOO MUCH! lol Or it doesn’t fit me correctly…
But anyways, check it out here!!!
P.S. And if you didn’t see last night: I made a facebook fan page! :} Check it out for some NEVER BEFORE SEEN outtakes from a shoot I did recently!
Want to see more ridiculous outtakes from this shoot?
I made a fan page on FACEBOOK! :D Please be a fan and I will continue to post fun behind the scenes awesomeness!

HOT! I really like this shoot- it has been public for a week now I think. Its just a gorgeous inspiring shoot. Her sister and her look so fabulous TOGETHER!
This is what I want for the fashion industry to become. I want a combination of different body types. That will really put fashion designers to the test- it could show that they are actually talented if they can make clothes look good on every body type. Isn’t that what they are here for? If something doesn’t look good on us, why would we buy it?
I know from several occasions I come across something that fits like a dream. I instantly feel like I MUST have it! If high fashion designers had more variety with sizing I am pretty sure I would be broke they would make more money and have a better name for themselves. (Done venting)
So, are you loving this editorial for (AUSSIE) cosmo as much as I am?
