Nikki Blonsky! She is who I chose to blog about a new body shape. I call her the rectangle hourglass. This picture it may be hard to see her figure, but I will be posting more pictures of her after this post.
This dress is gorgeous on her body type! I bet she feels super confident in it. Flowy dresses rock! They are definitely my favorite!
A dress that I will eventually sell on etsy.com… I made it a few months ago.
i know its awesome that they are offering bigger sizes. i was thrilled when i first found out but now that i have tried on the majority of the collection not only is almost all of it god awful looking the rest that is actually cute is so freaking short if i were ever to purchase any of it my ass would probably hang out. like this dress for instance, you would be like “aw that is so cute, with some nude pumps and gold bangles…so precious.” well yeah until you realized it is only 34’ inches from neck to hem. that is about as long as half of the tops they are sell on this site.
I completely understand where she is coming from. What is up with the super mini-mini skirts and dresses?? I am 5’11 and I try to pull the dresses down as much as possible!
The stylist at work yesterday was laughing at me because apparently I “forgot my pants”… Because the “dress” that I was wearing looked like a shirt. I cannot stand the too-short trend that is apparently new and hip. They are so unrealistic. I like to have fun, jump around, and bend over lol…
So, my suggestions are-
1. Wear a slip underneath that matches the dress. It will look painfully chic with the layered look.
2. Get short spandex, maybe colors that match also. I think this look will be cool eventually… I’ll show you an example in an outfit photo later.
3. This one is obvious, wear it as a shirt.
AHHH I love everything about this…
But if I must say one thing, I would make the dress a little more form fitting (or maybe shorter?). I can see her amazing curves hiding underneath this dress!
I would totally wear this. Would you?
Ok, so I love a lot of what is going on here…
Good-
The neckline is to die for, love the white collar.
The model, she’s adorable.
However, there is always something I would change… ;)
Not so good-
The yellow/orange color isn’t my favorite, I was thinking maybe totally bright yellow, or bright orange.
TOO LONG! She could totally rock this if it was higher on her leg… I am thinking an inch or two above the knees. Never be afraid to show off a little leg! :)
I love this dress, the shoes add a much needed pop to the outfit.
Now this is a real floral dress.
I know this is old, but I still absolutely LOVE this dress. Jean Paul Gaultier knows his stuff, this dress just wouldn’t look the same on someone with no curves.
Gosh, I want this dress so darn much. I would wear it around my house, maybe to Wendy’s? haha Oh my life isn’t grandiose enough for it, but I still love it so much.
Kim looks fabulous here. This dress looks as though it was made for her, (a definite possibility) and well, she just looks stunning.
I love how fitted it is, so it shows all of her curves, she definitely knows that it is those curves that make her famous, so why not show them off?

When in doubt of what to wear in the summer… Wear florals!! This beautiful flowy dress is a great length for her it shows her legs at the perfect spot. She is a gorgeous curvy women.
She is more of a pear shape so this dress has the right amount of cleavage to draw more attention to the top half of her body rather than her booty… (Which is exactly what I try to do)… <Outfit photo coming later>
