Happy Fridayyyyy!

Kevin babysat this little golden pup and he quickly won my heart. Luna still is my favorite puppy, but Bodhi (his name) is a happy ball of fluff who always wants my attention. Him and Luna played for hours and are best buds!

So, I got really sick last night and I am trying to fight it off before I leave (tonight) for New York! Ugh.

I take an 11pm bus tonight to arrive bright and early in the city that never sleeps. Appropriate right? I won’t get any sleep, arriving to the city that never sleeps? Yeaaaa 

ANYWAYS, I through on this outfit to do a quick run to the fashionable run to the doctor. But really it was for you guys! :} I will be blogging a ton while I am in NYC so I will be very present on my blog, do not fear.

Hey everyone!

This week has been nuts so far, I am getting everything ready for my time away from work and trying to figure out what to wear to New York Fashion Week! I am freaking out to say the least.

My outfit this week will be a bit more comfy and casual (I am trying to save my good clothes for next week). This look was really easy to throw on! I didn’t have any pants clean so I was kinda forced into wearing a skirt. I never wear this top because it is too short, but tucked into a skirt makes it perfect! 

Anyways, this week is nuts and I cannot wait to share my photos and journal with you as I am crashing fashion week! :)

Hey everyone!

This is my runway inspired look! I have been searching the runways for some inspiration over the past few days and this is the idea I came up with! If you have seen some pieces, you definitely would have noticed a black and blue trend. Here is an example, and another.

It is awesome to pair black with blue! This dress really makes it look amazing and effortless. So, I really didn’t have to do much… lol

I am hoping to show you how I take runway ideas into making them realistic, everyday wear! :) ModCloth is going to do a blog post shortly, then I will share the content with you! I just bought these shoes, but this is one of my ModStylist outfits (if you recognize the background). I own these shoes but the rest of the outfit I put together from items on the site! I do not think I could say enough good things about the shoes. They are an amazing brand (Gee wawa) and they are so comfortable and sturdy! I don&#8217;t plan on taking them off anytime soon! dress, jacket, scarf, SHOES all ModCloth! What do you think of my look??

Ohhhhh Hello New York fashion week! Here are some of my favorites thus far! That picture up there is Prabal Gurung, I loved their collection. Sooooo gooooood. And great MOVEMENT. Steven Alan, such simplicity here. But at the same time super chic. Tess Giberson, so simple but it looks comfortable and chic. :) I would love to wear this like now&#8230;  Nicole Miller was another one of my favorites I have seen so far. Love the shades of blue. Super fabulous. Mandy Coon has been trending on twitter quite a bit lately, now you can see why! This was my favorite from her line, I love staple pieces like this. Nicholas K is fabulous. Last Friday we spent our evening hanging out with all of our fans at the Lord & Taylor, Madison Plus FNO event.


Erica and I had an amazing time running around the floor styling up the curvy mannequins in pieces from Micheal Kors, Not Your Daughters Jeans, Adrianna Papelle, Calvin Klein and Jones New York.


I loved styling my outfit, I decided to rock Micheal Kors head to toe. I was in love with the animal print skirt and the purple blouse with the grommets just popped my outfit.


All I did to my hair for the night was some big velcro rollers and wore them around the office while I worked. Talk about multi-tasking at its best!


We were so excited that Mandy and Natalie came up to help us cover all the exciting FNO events. After joining us to capture the style competition they went on to visit Lane Bryant, True Boutique and Re/Dress.


Our three beautiful finalists from our style competition were Tina Santiago, Oby Nmezi and Tiffany Bank. Erica and I styled them head to toe in our picks from the Lord & Taylor plus floor.  Which outfit was your favorite?

Our audience picked Tiffany Bank with her Calvin Klein fur coat and Jones of New York faux wrap dress as the winner!

How attractive am I? Got a nice slab of face mask on some zits I don&#8217;t care to be on my face for FNO&#8230; lol If you can&#8217;t tell from this ridiculous face, I am stressed out. But seriously SO HAPPY. I had a fabulous day! I got comp cards (what I am holding) for some good networking in NYC this weekend! If you are a new follower I am going to Madison Plus&#8217;s &amp; Lord and Taylor&#8217;s event, and Lane Bryant&#8217;s! But if you follow me on twitter my plans may change and you will know! :D I would love to meet some of you! Not sure how much I like his clothes, some are fabulous, some are ehh. But I LOVE how he uses Crystal Renn and some other curvy models in his show! <3
