Yes, you are correct. It is not plus-sized, but it is a plus-sized model. “Plus-size” models are from a size 6. :( Sad but true.

You had two parts, so I figured I would join them! :D I got a taste of my confidence from my friends. I have been curvy my whole life like you, and I started out with friends who were negative always making me feel shitty about myself. Then I opened my eyes to new, positive friends and that helped a lot. Hang out with people who make you feel good.
ALSO, modeling helped me believe it or not. I could be someone else, I acted more confident and that in turn it made me more confident. I found the confidence within myself. There is no easy fix to find confidence, its inside of you, and you must find it in your own way. :) GOOD LUCK!!! <333

Hmmmm… I will list a few words I find important: communication, ROMANCE, honesty, plan fun dates together, sweet kisses, support, selflessness, and uh well love is pretty important too. ;)

That you can’t let yourself be fooled by the bad boy, the star athlete just wants you for your body, and the nerd will love you forever. Funny you should ask that, today is my 3 year anniversary with the nerd. :) I love him.

I look at pictures of Crystal Renn when she was a 16, and it makes me feel better… It is a hard thing to do, accepting is something we are all forced to do. I like to think I love myself, and so should you! <3 Omg… I kinda made a nursery rhyme there… wow ha
I love reading your blog. I put on weight when I was a teenager and grew into my body in college, but it was so hard to stay positive in a world of zeros. Thanks for being so positive and being great inspiration!

I think you are gorgeous and inspirational. I want to model too, I have the height but my weight is the problem. I am no size 0, and not quite plus sized, but that’s besides the point. I would like to know what your photos looked like that you sent in?
Hey lady! Not sure if you know but “plus size” models are as low as a 8, but I am guessing your between that and a 0. I really don’t know much about modeling between those sizes. My pictures were from my modeling page: www.modelmayhem.com/mandylady ! But I sent in a full body shot, a headshot, and a half body shot. Try not to have too much makeup on in the shots. They like to see you natural, makeup can make anyone look better. They want to see your natural beauty!! Good luck! I hope this helped a little bit. <3
Hiya! You are so inspiring! I’m a size 12 and I’m 16. I am one of those unlucky people who put on weight when they hit puberty. :/ All my friends are a size 2-8 and they’re always complaining that they’re ‘fat’. It makes me feel really ugly and icky. :(
You beautiful, little 16 year old, a size 12 is a great size! I bet your curves are soft and feminine! Don’t listen to them when they complain, they just want attention! :) I was a size 14 when I was your age, and my best friend was a 2… :/ But it made me realize that beauty isn’t about size. It is about who you are. <3
