If any of you have been following me from the very beginning of my blog (June 2009), you know I have been working at ModCloth for quite a while. I have been in multiple positions and I really do love the company! I just switched into the position of a ModStylist! Many people are confused about what we do, so I thought I would clarify with all of you what I do for my job!

The short and sweet way of explaining it? My team and I interact with ModCloth customers and help them find the perfect outfits!

The little bit longer and kinda detailed way of explaining it? I am one of five ModStylist’s, we are a stylish group of girls who share a love of fashion. We plan/take styling appointments with ModCloth customers, on what type of dresses they are looking for, how to style a certain item, etc! Want to make an appointment?? Click here.

We also style ModCloth products and take outfit photos each week to share on product pages, here is an example of each of us Amy, Nicole, Chelsey, Jess, and ME (go to the last picture). We plan blog posts, newsletters, and other ways to keep our customers engaged! Lastly, we keep up with several social media sites! Here are some links: Facebook, Chictopia, Flickr (I am in charge of updating the flickr and chictopia accounts teheee).

Look 3: Meet & Greets

Mandy makes a friendly first impression as she mingles with other folks from other start-ups by hanging up her blazer and handbag to keep her palms free for collecting business cards. By adding the A Kiss of Glam Lipstick in Red to her pout and dressing up her floral frock with the Statement of the Art Necklace, she’s successfully transitioned into an ensemble that makes her appear approachable and put-together.

Don’t forget: Just because your job requires you to dress conservatively doesn’t mean you can’t have fun with fashion within office walls. You’ll feel at ease if you’re comfortable in your clothes, resulting in a more confident you that both peers and managers will pick up on!

Hey everyone!

This is my runway inspired look! I have been searching the runways for some inspiration over the past few days and this is the idea I came up with! If you have seen some pieces, you definitely would have noticed a black and blue trend. Here is an example, and another.

It is awesome to pair black with blue! This dress really makes it look amazing and effortless. So, I really didn’t have to do much… lol

I am hoping to show you how I take runway ideas into making them realistic, everyday wear! :) ModCloth is going to do a blog post shortly, then I will share the content with you! I just bought these shoes, but this is one of my ModStylist outfits (if you recognize the background). I own these shoes but the rest of the outfit I put together from items on the site! I do not think I could say enough good things about the shoes. They are an amazing brand (Gee wawa) and they are so comfortable and sturdy! I don&#8217;t plan on taking them off anytime soon! dress, jacket, scarf, SHOES all ModCloth! What do you think of my look??

What I wore yesterday. Luna is HUGE! I swear every time I see her she looks giant! (Click on the polaroid boxes to see the pictures on your dashboard) This is actually supposed to be a top! haha I wore this AMAZING seamless tube dress underneath it! I used to be so cynical for anything &#8220;one-sized&#8221; but this tube dress is seriously AMAZING. Go buy one now! They are perfect under sheer anything! :D The boots are my favorite too. I have worn them a few times.
