Besides Fashion, my other love is Photography. I have been into photography for quite some time now, but studying it in college really made my love blossom into a hobby and part of my job!

I tried shooting weddings this past summer and really despised it. I love photographing the couples and the details, but it is too much stress for me. If you do not get the shot the bride wants you are screwed. 

However, I love travel photography (i’ll share some of my favorites with you later) and portraits like these above. :) Most of these photos are old, but I thought I would share them with you people regardless.

Here is my week in review of instagram photos. I think I might do this more often, instagram is near and dear to my heart. :}

I have a few cool things to share:

  • If you look at my sidebar my boyfriend helped me add some icons of ways to connect! I added twitter, pinterest, facebook, my personal tumblr (for reblogs etc), and google reader. :)
  • Kevin also helped me add a search bar and an archive button! So have fun! :D

You might have seen my sneak peek post yesterday, but here are some of the final images from my swimwear shoot about a month ago. I realllly miss my long hair. :{ I love how these images turned out. These swimsuits were great quality, and the designer is amazing.

I will be posting photographs that I wish I was in or I took them or I was wearing the items they are wearing every wednesday! I will call it “Why didn’t I do this” (WDIDT) Wednesdays! haha horrible name, I know. I just like the idea of posting weekly insiration that helps keeping me inspired and hopefully it will help you.

Winter is a really tough season for me to get through creatively. This year, I am hoping looking at inspiration it will help?! lol It is worth a try! :) Soooo here is my first post:

Coco Rocha is seriously amazing in everything that she does, and everything in this photograph is perfect. And green is my favorite color right now. I cannot stop wearing it…

Here she is again! But seriously, look that dress! And her pose makes is seriously perfect.

OMG hair envy. I love this lady, I wish she would start modeling again. Her face is amazing.

I would wear this around the house, so classically beautiful.

So many amazing outfits here. drool…

Heyyyyy! This is another one of my self portraits for my final! I will be sharing the rest with you as the weeks pass! :) I wanna make these last! I miss having time to actually tumble! I miss all of you! So glad school is done! I have so much going on in these next few weeks! But I will be back full throttle in the tumblr-sphere! News: I was officially hired as a part-time &#8216;photo specialist&#8217; for ModCloth today!! Why part-time? Because I have a side (secret) project I am working on, and I am starting to work with a wedding photographer on the weekends. AND I don&#8217;t think I am ready to work full time, at least not for this summer. Call me lazy, call me what you will, but I have worked full time before, and I am not ready to do it again just yet. :P (Maybe I am also rebelling because everyone expects me to get a full time job right out of college, well having offers is just as good right?) lol It is senior week at my school, which is a nice way of saying &#8220;this is your last chance to drink and look like a fool while on campus&#8221;! I do not live on campus, but I will be staying on campus for Tuesday-Thursday! I cannot promise you that I will be active on here, I am getting this last bit of crazy out of me, so I can return to tumblr refreshed and ready to kick ass. I graduate on Saturday! Holy crap, this year went so fast. But people always say, &#8220;you will miss college so much&#8221;, I highly disagree. I never felt like I belonged in college, I feel like it was a huge distraction in what I wanted to do with my life. However, my internship at ModCloth helped me find my way&#8230; ModCloth is why I started my blog in the first place, it introduced me to social media back when I was a baby sophmore. ModCloth has helped me grow, and I can never deny that. I know this is all mushy gushy, but I stand by the fact that internships/first &#8216;big girl jobs&#8217; are where you learn, not school, it comes from experience that you get. Ok, on to the next subject. I have some of my photos in a gallery in Ireland! Aparently they are still on the campus of the University of Limerick?! And will be moved shortly to the Limerick Airport?? Well, I do not know a whole lot other than two of the photos are officially on a wall, and look official and stuff! lol I will share more when I know more! My group won the Iron Chef competition in my cooking class! I won $20! haha I know, my life is so random. :} I AM COMING TO L.A. in a few weeks!!!!! No, it is not to model. Its to network! I will be in Culver City area. I will be there for 3 days and have no clue what to do! Let me know if any of you want to meet up! :) I love making new friends! News:

I had two of my photographs in a gallery for school today! It was pretty darn interesting seeing them on a wall next to everyone else&#8217;s stuff&#8230; I love seeing how everyone has a different eye, who is to judge what is a good photograph or not? What say you??

This weekend was pretty fun. I basically stayed in with Kevin Friday and played with my school&#8217;s fisheye lens! As you can see above^! Hahaa he looks hilarious right? He was trying to be a bird&#8230; I learned one big thing about fisheye lenses, NOT FLATTERING. Then on Saturday I went to the photo antiquities museum with my photo club! :) Four people showed out of about twenty five&#8230; lol Oh well, it was so fun! We also invited model Liz to pose pretty for us! One of my favorite shots of my own from the day! Thanks to Lensbaby-the composer (also my schools!) It was some of the guy&#8217;s first time shooting portraiture, which was a great experience for them. :) My second favorite shot of mine. :) She is so darn pretty. Just such a perfect face. ANYWAYS, that night I worked on my self portraits. You saw the creepy teaser from one. That isn&#8217;t the image I chose, just kind of a funny one. lol I also did a housewife one, Ill share tomorrow maybe. Then Sunday I went skiing&#8230; FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER. Behind the scenes (testing light) shot of my creepy psychopath self portrait&#8230;  Scary right? I-spy kevin! We smelled like ketchup the rest of the night. A little darker than the last one I did, this project is pretty difficult! I had to put the camera on a timer and ran into the tub, and repeated this for about 20 times!

This is me as a bookworm. ;) This is the first of the series for my advanced digital photography class! :P I love all of the other ideas you have given! Hey! I had such a relaxing weekend, I really don&#8217;t want it to be over. It is nice to take some time to just clear your mind, play with cameras, and abandon doing hair and makeup. Seriously though, all I did this weekend was sleep, watch movies with Kevin, and play with some studio lighting! FOR THE FIRST TIME EVERRRR! It was soooo fun! :) Here is one picture of us :) I am so obsessed. Anyways, did you have a lovely weekend??

Makeup-less and exhausted. Today I decided what I wanted to do for my Advanced Digital Photography final! I am going to do a series of self portraits! It will be called &#8220;When I Grow Up&#8221; or something along those lines. I will dress up as different people with different lifestyles such as: An alcoholic A celebrity A housewife a drug addict and not sure what the rest should be! Any suggestions? I am trying to make some really light and happy and then some really dark and grungy. Ideas??
