Traveling around is so fun, and it is also how I stay sane. Also, autumn is my favorite season so everything this time of year is stunning on the east coast. :)

This color of dress is perfect for this season. I typically do not wear super form fitting dresses (not really my style), but this dress was too good. I picked this dress up a few years back at a thrift store for like $5, which was a great find. :) I paired this dress with a pair of never been worn Gucci heels that I found at GoodWill for $5. Now THAT was a miracle. Sure they are about a size too big for me, but I made it work! lol ;)

So this look cost about $10! I love thrifting. :D

What I wore at the lake this weekend!

I was trying to dress comfy but also have some fun with it. I LOVE this shirt so much, it is so soft and delicate with cute little hearts all over. Also this scarf and bralette was so fun to pair with it for a little added drama.

This weekend was so fun and relaxing, I never wanted to leave. But I got to come back to my apartment which I am LOVING but still have SO MUCH TO DO. Blah, I hate being behind in things. If you follow me on twitter/instagram you saw lots of pictures of my travels! :)

This is my last post on Mackinac Island. This was right before we left. It was sad, but we know we had a lot of work to catch up on when we got home. :( The colors there are to die for. It was such a gorgeous day, a little bit chilly (which was AWESOME). My hair is getting SUPER brassy&#8230; I kinda like it. I love these leopard print shades though! :) Luna was sleepy after our adventure to Mackinac Island. Everything about the trip was amazing. I &lt;3 you Michigan. This is what I wore on our big date to the restaurant on our resort in Mackinac Island. This dress feels so luxurious and classic. I am in love&#8230; with Kevin! haha (Cannot get enough of that bokeh!) We wore Luna out so we could have the night to ourselves, it was relaxing and fun! :) Unfortunately they changed the restaurant since last year when I was there&#8230; I was heart broken, the old place made the best meal I have ever had in my life, not to mention they had a bangin&#8217; martini happy hour! But now they have this Italian restaurant (blah)! Because I was in the mood for a steak anyways, I got the only one on the menu. It was ok&#8230; It looks WAY better than it tasted.  But the dessert (creme brulee) was AMAZING! They lit the sugar right in front of me! It was so yummmmmy. :) I will be posting more travel pics tomorrow!  &lt;3

As some of you know I was in Mackinac Island with the boyfriend and our new puppy, Luna, about a week ago! It was so insanely relaxing.  It is such a gorgeous place. I will try to upload some pictures as I go along this week on here, because I took a few outfit photos while I was there. :)  This outfit was for the first day on the island. We took Luna for a nice walk and just relaxed along the coast of lake Huron. (crazy wind making my hair look insane) But after we did that for about half the day we went to eat lunch at this place called the Pink Pony. We weren&#8217;t sure if we were allowed to have Luna with us on the porch, so we asked the hostess if we were allowed to have her on the porch part of the restaurant. She went to go ask her manager, came back and said that was fine. I mean Luna was exhausted at this point, and just wanted to lay down. So we were excited to eat while she slept! Just as we get our food a manager comes up to us and tells us that we aren&#8217;t allowed to have dogs there. We explain that we asked the hostess and she said the manager said it was ok, and then the manager blamed us saying that the hostess doesn&#8217;t have the authority to allow us to have a dog inside. Blah blah, bullshit. So, we have to get boxes for our food and leave. She tried to pet Luna and say how cute she was I wanted to tell her to fuck off. lol ;) Though, I will not go back to this restaurant I have this cool picture of my iced tea! :) Oh well, we took our boxed up food to the park instead. The food was mehhhh. But the park was nice. :) Stay tuned tomorrow to see what I wore for our fancy dinner. ;) &lt;3

Sooo, I don&#8217;t know about all of you. But I am completely into the Harry Potter series. I know most of you are sick of seeing stuff on tumblr about it, but about a month ago I went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! I figured this was a good time to share some pictures of things I saw. (Yummmm, but I liked the frozen butterbeer better! :D) I had such a great time here. It was about 99 degrees outside everyday I was in Orlando, but it was SO worth it. We had lunch at the three broomsticks (try the fish n&#8217; chips: YUM). It was just a such great place. I felt like I was in one of the books, I wanted to just go into each store and stare at everything around me&#8230; :) I just wish the castle was huge and I could explore it. :( I guess everything cannot be perfect. Maybe they will build a theme park only for Harry Potter?? I think that is a brilliant idea. hahaa I am a huge nerd! Anyways, the movie was fantastic (yea, I saw it at midnight). Sure, they didn&#8217;t follow the book exactly, but I think they did a pretty damn good job with it. It is the end of an era, and all I can say is Mischief Managed.

I just want to say, all this homework is making me want to get away sooooo bad&#8230; Maybe I should board a plane to Paris for the weekend?? SOMEDAY! :}

Kevin and I are planning a trip to BARCELONA, SPAIN in MAYYY! It will be a reward for graduating from college! haha :)

We are sooooo excited. Only issue is: I have no money. I may need to sell me soul. Any takers?

1. First time in California.

2. First time flying alone.

3. First time a company flew me out to shoot product!

4. First time I modeled lingerie!

This weekend was crazy, and unforgettable! I am going to take you through little my journey! If you don’t like it then scroll down and get to the shoot details! lol :)

I get to the airport about 3 hours early, and it was completely dead in there. It took me about 10 mins to get to my gate! The funny thing is I had a water bottle in my purse, and didn’t use a plastic bag for my liquids and security said nothing! So, I get to my gate and realize I have nothing to do for three hours…

That was really quite horrible considering I was so anxious/excited/nervous/freaking out! Three hours felt like ten days! But I made some friends! I talked to this older woman in a wheel chair who was sooo dolled up, and asked her about her necklace. She told me this long, grandiose story about how her grandmother passed it to her mother and on to her. She was very interesting and loved to talk! I love pple like that! Great distraction. 

NEXT- I meet a wedding counselor from LA who sits next to me. She had long gorgeous blond/white hair and a beautiful black satin dress on. We discuss things like if you should live with your significant other before you get married, when you should get married etc. She asked about Kevin and I, I told her all about us. She said that we passed her “test” to see if the marriage will last! haha And told me to get married ASAP. Then I told her my age and she changed her thoughts by saying “take your time”. lol

We finally get on the plane, the wedding counselor and I realize that we have the same flight schedule and say we will meet up at the next gate. I have a seat in between a beautiful, mysterious girl who was reading about archeology and evolution (we didn’t talk much she read a lot) and an older, rich looking woman. The older lady started up a conversation almost immediately. She was on her way to Hawaii! Long story short, she was an interior decorator, an international lama judge, and a nurse… She is retired so she only does the interior decorating on the side for a creative outlet. She was such a sweetheart, and encouraged me on my modeling lingerie fear. I could tell you much more about her, but this is getting lengthy already!

YAY we arrive in Arizona! I meet up with the wedding counselor and briefly made a new fashion friend who lives in Cali too.

Get on the plane to Los Angeles! (can you believe it?)

I sit next to a soon-to-be marine, quite a hunk if you ask me. But don’t worry Kevin, he had a girlfriend! ;-} We talked about life, the military world, and California.

OMG we land in LA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I find my way to the hotel, meet up with Natalie! Then I call my friend to come pick us up to go to dinner! (A very late dinner that is.) We go to “Father’s Office”, I have never heard of it before but was more than willing to visit this fancy gastropub <click if you don’t know what it means! I didn’t!

Hung out for a bit then headed back into the hotel, I had “the handicapped” room so I could have fit like 30 ppl in my room lol. MY BED WAS AWESOME.

Next day we shot, shot and shot some more! Everyone at this company was great, friendly, and funny! Natalie and I got some serious outfits in! Cannot wait to show you all! :) If you don’t shop at hips & curves now, you should. They stand for feeling beautiful and sexy in your own skin. I mean look at the diversely sized models on their site! I know my next corset will be from them! :}

We were tired after! I laid around for an hour, then Natalie left me to go to an awesome diner that I couldn’t go to because I had to catch my flight! :( haha No worries though, I was happy for her (it seemed awesome) and I would have been too stressed on getting back in time anyways.

So I get to the airport and sit… lol For about 2 hours, catch my redeye flight back to Philly, have a three hour layover to get to Pittsburgh, and NOW IM HOME! :) I feel kind of behind with schoolwork, and I am stressed. But all of it was so worth it, I love flying! And I love the ladies of Hips & Curves!!!! :D
