Erica and I paid a visit this past Friday to the YFF Bloggers Conference meet and greet at Re/Dress in Brooklyn. It was great to meet in person all the fabulous bloggers that we have been working with over the months. We got to meet all the fabulous ladies who put this weekend together Gabi, Sakina, Melinda, J, Hayley, Christina, Mimmi & Peppi, and Nicolette. We are such huge supporter of them and their fabulous style.

They spent there first two days meeting with Torrid,  Evans and Monif C. They got to preview Torrid’s new denim line and spent the morning with Evans previewing there Fall line, plus a sneak peak at Beth Ditto’s new line. If that was not enough they then paid a visit to Monif Cat her store in midtown got to have some lunch and shop. Saturday they spent the day with Maddy at Plus Model Mag working on their August issue, we are super excited to see how the photo shoot turns out.

I have so much to tell you all! I am going to try to keep it short and sweet though, because I have a huge assignment due tonight for class. :(

1. I did not end up signing with Wilhelmina of PA. I talked to a few professionals and they said that it is NOT normal for you to pay up front. And I also talked to a plus size model who works for them, and she said that she has been with them for a year and hasn’t gotten any work.Besides, I always had an un-easy feeling about them, so no thank you, I will continue to freelance. (And kick ass)

2. I went to NYC this past weekend. I had the best weekend anyone could ask for.

Friday: Drove, walked around the city with all of our luggage! My back still hurts from that. And we went to the Young, Fat and Fabulous Conference Meet up! My good friend Kevin (not the boyfriend) decided to let me go explore and have a good time while he went to visit the Brooklyn bridge! I will be posting pictures from meeting all these awesome ppl tomorrow. :) I felt a little out of place at first because a total of maybe 5 people knew who I was! I didn’t meet any followers of mine. :( But it was good after I really pushed myself to talk to as many people as I could! Made some new friends! :D Then Kevin and I went to party with some crazy irish friends on the roof of their appt. Needless to say we were up til about 4AM.

Saturday: Wake up, go meet my cousin in the Bronx to drop off our stuff at her place before we run around NYC. Kev and I are so tired that we just take our time getting to the National History museum to meet up with some Irish folk again. We get some pizza and relax for a bit. It was a hot day. Thank God the subways have air conditioning! After the museum we walk around looking for somewhere to eat, find it and I invited a friend of mine (that I met at the YFFCON) to chill with us. Her name is Aryn and shes a cutie. Finally we all decide to go out that night, shop a little bit for dance appropriate outfits and go out until 5AM.

Sunday: Didn’t want to wake up. But did, got ready for my shoot at 4. We were a little bit late (subway construction), but the shoot was a good time. Made some good contacts. :) I love meeting new people so much! I also love getting feedback! Kevin and I headed to the train station, and made our train with perfect timing. Everything else went well. Got home around 2AM.

Monday: Had a shoot for ModCloth at 8AM. I had to drink LOTS of coffee. lol. Then I worked for a few hours, and got ready to go to this surprise concert that I planned for Kevin (my boyfriend this time)! I brought him to CAKE! IT rainedddddddd. A lot. But heard good music, and slept all night.

Now I am trying so desperately to finish this stupid paper due for my marketing class tonight. I feel so behind in life! ahhhhhhhhh STRESSSS

Anyways. Tomorrow, I will be posting some fun pictures from this weekend! Are you as excited as I am?! haha
